Default 07 GSXR750 - New Project

I decided that I need a slightly more sane daily driver than what my Talon will be, so I picked up a bike from a friend, in need of a "little bit of work"

Has 3000km on the clock, bought it for $1300. The frame and drivetrain are mechanically sound, but the forks and everything that attaches to them (other than the wheel and brakes) need replacing, and it needs a rear subframe, gas tank, radiator, and some other small parts. The plan is to build it up street-fighter style.

He learned the hard way that cold race tires don't grip well under high speed cornering, landed himself in a coma for 2 months

Well, looks like the bike is going to take longer than expected. After two weeks of waiting, the guy I bought my radiator from still hadn't shipped it. Couldn't get in touch with him via PM, or posts on the original forum. He hadn't even responded to the paypal claim I filed.

Had enough today so I found a forum he was fairly active on (over 1500 posts) and called him out there. Supposedly getting my money back tonight. So, now I'm on the hunt for another rad.

Damn, that bike is a mess. I don't think the radiator is holding you up that bad... haha
I just saw your thread on NESR. I bought my bike from Ray.. had no problems. He seems to be kind of slow at shipping stuff he sells online, but he's a pretty good guy from everything I can tell.
