A little update, I got the rotating assembly back for the machine shop. I installed the crankshaft, rods & pistons (the Manley rods came with ARP 2000 bolts). I used tri-metal bearings (cp series) from clevite for rods/crankshaft. I ordered new factory crankshaft bolts, some think ARP's are better (they are stronger for sure), but after researching the factory crankshaft bolts have a shoulder at the top that keeps the bearing cap/girdle from shifting, ARP's have a little play in them. I also put my battery relocation box in the van, I ordered a optima battery to use, still need to run the wire though. Cleaned the gasket off the oil pump housing assembly today (what a pita), going to install it tomorrow. As long as the weather holds out everything else should come together rather quickly now.

It has a 2.4 in it, 2.4>2.3 for street, plus I'm spooling a TDO6-20g which is the smallest turbo suggested for a 2.4 build due to how fast spool up is on a 2.4. The engine is a 7 bolt but my engine uses the bearing cap girdle system, I checked the in/out clearances after the crankshaft install, and used new factory crankshaft bolts, its tight. My machinist only had to micro polish everything.

Installed the oil pump housing and cylinder head today. Took a few mock up pics with the intake and turbo stuff on.

Actually takes it away by sucking up all the oil and locking your engine up.

Wrong. You pour it into the intake and it ports out your head thereby increasing flow and power.
