at 31 psi,

before I sold the turbo and parts that go with it I was running around at 36ish.

I don't know very much about the car's history, I believe I am the 3rd owner of it. Even the dust shields around the brakes are in 1 piece. I felt bad dragging it out of storage to start working on it. It has about 2cm of snow sitting over top of her right now :(

It's a B&M universal fluid cooler, I'm using it for oil though. I bought it from summit.

I've ordered my injectors, should have them monday and the rest of my parts tuesday. Boost by the weekend. I'm anxious to see how this turbo performers, I hope its all that its cracked up to be.

forced four guys? Maybe I've stolen a group's name without even knowing it. I've never heard of superfly either. I'm near Ottawa Ontario in Canada so I have a funny feeling you may have meet some other people.

Added a truboost and am in the process of building myself a methanol kit. E85 isn't around here and I want to go fast.

I want to say full boost hits between 4700 and 5000 but I haven't really been paying to much attention when its hit, anything above 5000 and there isn't much in terms of lag though its got great response.

I finally got all my stuff figured out, borrowed a truck, rented a trailer, took some time off from work, drove 700km and made it to a better track than the one that is closest to me.

1st launch and it made a terrible sound, fell on its face and became a fwd (welded center dif). I coasted down the track and loaded it back on my trailer. I had brought 4 axles with me and 2 tcases. Didn't have any spare rear drivers side ones though.

3 bolt for now. I guess its time for a 4 bolt. I've killed axles before but usually from wheel hop, this one looks like the center twisted.

Yup, over all that was a terrible day. the car would start breaking up at 6500 ish rpms, which limits my power band a lot. I missed 4th as well in that run i actually completed, the bike pulled a head of me while i figured out where 4th is supposed to be.

Might be time for an ignition box.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do about the tranny. I doubt I'll get another built tranny, this thing has maybe 15-20 passes on it and a summer and a 1/2 of weekend street use. Not worth the 2000$ it cost me if its going to puke its guts out. Mind you it shifted really really nice. I can't complain about that.

I lost 1st gear but the rest of them seemed to work fine, I think whatever let go from 1st gear got wedged in the front diff's ring and pushed its way out of the case.

I'll open it up and see what I can salvage and rebuild another.

The thought of going automatic seems appealing right about now. A dog box is a bit out of my budget.

Talk to Mike Isiaho, all he buys is stock trannies. He eats up 2 a year or so but for $300 a pop compared to built trans you are saving yourself a ton of money.

If I had a reliable source for more trannys I'd consider that but finding a decent 1990 t speed tranny within 300km of here is getting to be an impossible job.

The evo gears are suppose to be the strongest you can get (didn't stop a korndogg's 4th gear from stripping like 3 times). I have a good 90 transmission and transfer case if you need one.

hopefully my 3rd and 4th will take the abuse, I'm not even sure what they are. I got the tranny with the "Heavy duty 3/4" shep offers. I suppose counting the teeth will tell me what they are. Another thing on my to do list once I get some time.

Shipping from VT to Canada would kill, I've ordered an evo 1st to rebuild whats in here, just needs a new bell housing which I'll borrow from another tranny with a busted shift fork.
