She ran a 11.2 @ 130 on Friday night, that was only my eighth pass down any track in this car, so next year should net better times.

Goal of the car was to run 10's here in Utah on the smallest amount of mods possible.

Two coats and no clear. The entire paint job cost me $170 and we sprayed it in our shop. As far as the pistons and rods go . . . It's working for me ;)

It's just black that they put "flat" in. You can have them do it to any color. There actually isn't any clear coat on it.

The 2g pistons on 1g rods are do-able there's some crazy ass machining you have to do for the piston sleeves, but the 1g rods are definitely beefier.

Nice. Something to consider when I go to build a 7 bolt. I think I still have the PDF of the CAD drawing someone did of the machining specs that are involved. Hell it's probably still flying around on Tuners somewhere.

Next trip to track (about two weeks ago) I over rev'd, oil pump froze and all the bearing spun. But . . . new motor is in and it's currently sitting at a local installers shop getting a roll cage installed. I should be hitting the track again in a few weeks.
