Hmmm, never thought about it. Being that this forum is intended for multi-media; pics, vids, builds and such I never really thought about implementing any sort of tech sections. We started with a general tech section, and then soon after moved up to an advanced tech section for tech articles, how to's and stuff like that.
I guess if there's a want for an Audio/Electronics section I could throw that in somwhere.

All in favor.

its always cool to see what people have going on and toss around some ideas. like i said, i did it for quite some time and think i could help out anyone that wants help by doing things themselves. now please dont get me wrong, im not tooting my own horn, but simply lending a helping hand! for instance, what might work and help deciding on products and wiring info. thanks again for considering this idea guys!!!!

I am a big fan of audio/video in cars. I just think their would be more people willing to help and not enough people needing help. Maybe I am wrong.

I've got the basic installer manual, and the advanced installer manual sitting like 3" away from me. I never felt like taking the advanced installer course.

I have to install speakers in the rear, there are none back there.
A newer stereo/cd/.... player
and I dont want any wires or anything showing.
But with the cd player I only want to use half of the hole thats givin for the stock radio cause Im going to put my gauges there.

I'm back and forth on this...

$200 for (2) 10" Infinity Kappas and a 640W Kenwood amp.

Deal or No Deal?

I haven't gone to look at them yet, but I assume they are fine. They are going in my DD Talon. I already have Infinity reference speakers all around with the factory Infinity amp. Also some crap Kenwood headunit. I've been back and forth on even building a system, but I'm keeping the car until it dies, so why not?

I'm not really for sound systems, unless it's just better quality speakers. Amps and all that just take up space in the car, add weight and eat up all your money for which you could have spent on better things, like making your car go fast.
